Summer Kabobs!
We love to grill in the summer! (doesn't everyone?) My very favorite thing to grill is kabobs. They are super easy (just choose, trim, cut, and marinate your meat....and add veggies), and you can put anything on a kabob!
For these, we used chicken breast in A1's "Chicago Steakhouse marinade. As for the veggies, we used what we had on hand...some home grown tomatoes and bell peppers, and I picked up some shrooms and an onion (sweet).
*We skewer the veggies separate from the meat to make sure everything cooks the right amount of time.
YUM!
This will be my entry for Foodie Friday at Designs by Gollum.

this looks delicious! wish you were making this at my house tonight. ;-) Thanks for stopping by Nesting Instincts! Those aqua-colored boxes were from The Container Store. I love that place. Not the cheapest, but certainly a great selection of all things organizing. Btw, like your new bedroom furniture too!
Thanks Courtney...they were sooo delicious! That A1 marinade makes the chicken! I will def. have to check out the container store...I love to buy organizing stuff (too bad it doesn't make me automatically organized =)
That's a great idea to cook the chicken and veggies seperately. I'm going to try that next time. Also, to answer your question about melted chocolate and the spoon cookies . . . I've never tried it, but I bet it would work. I can't imagine melted chocolate not tasting good on a cookie!
Yum yum yum. Your kebabs look so great. We do ours separately too and it just works better. I am getting hungry and its nearly midnight - not good.
Yes ladies...they were delicious! We finally got fed up with either the meat not being cooked right, or the veggies weren't just so...that's what led to the grilling them separately. It has worked out very well for us!
